Meet Our Founder
Dr. Ed Wright is the former Elingburg Distinguished Professor of Business Innovation at Western Carolina University. Prior to academia, he spent thirty years in the global medical device industry in senior management roles related to the design, development, and commercialization of advanced medical technologies. His accomplishments include leading the acquisition, merger, and management of several US and international businesses; the development and launch of eleven new medical products; and leadership of business units in the US and Europe. Personal intellectual property contributions include five US patents for medical devices and fifteen, peer-reviewed publications.
